CASE STUDIES
    FIRE REMEDIATION

PROJECT: COLINDALE HOSPITAL
LOCATION: LONDON

The former Colindale Hospital estate comprises eight residential blocks where extensive external wall remediation has been carried out to address legacy fire‑safety defects. Across the blocks, combustible cladding, insulation, balcony decking and façade components are being removed and replaced with fully compliant, non‑combustible systems, bringing the external envelope up to current building safety and warranty standards

PROJECT: ISSIGONIS HOUSE
LOCATION: ACTON

Issigonis House in Acton is a mixed‑use residential block consisting of 129 flats, originally built with combustible façade systems, which was later identified as having unsafe cladding and balcony materials under fire safety reviews.

As part of wider building safety works for the landlord (Shepherds Bush Housing Group) and developer team (Vistry/Countryside), the external wall build‑up and balcony elements were stripped back and replaced with compliant non‑combustible cladding, insulation, fire barriers and decking to bring the block in line with current regulations.

PROJECT: GREENWICH, SE7
LOCATION: GREENWICH

This 330‑home Greenwich development is a high‑quality mixed‑tenure scheme where both internal and external fire safety are being remediated to current standards.

The works focused on restoring effective compartmentation throughout the building whilst fully occupied– upgrading risers, service penetrations, fire‑stopping, party walls and ceilings – to ensure any fire is contained within individual apartments and escape routes remain protected for residents.

PROJECT: NAYLOR BULDING
LOCATION: ALDGATE

The Naylor Building in Aldgate forms part of the Aldgate Triangle development, a mixed‑use city‑fringe scheme of modern apartments with concierge and roof terraces just moments from Aldgate East station.

Following fire‑safety guidance, the high‑rise façades are being subject to remediation to address combustible materials and cavity barrier defects.
